The newest collection by 4F and Anna Lewandowska celebrates the power of female nature. Water, as a metaphor for female nature and a symbol of its vitality, is the main theme and one of the inspirations for the collection. The colours also draw from nature: the blue of water, the shades of sand, the pink tones of coral reefs, as well as vivid, stony browns.
There are not only references to nature, however. The 4FxAL collection has been designed in line with the 4F CHANGE environmental strategy. 43% of the products offered in the collection use certified materials sourced in a more sustainable way. We used organic cotton, recycled polyester, as well as innovative solutions that have never been used in 4F’s collection before, such as marine algae fibre and zippers made of recycled PET bottles fished from the ocean floor.
The collection encompasses three lines: essentials, sportstyle and training. All of them have incredible versatility. Individual elements can be mixed and matched to create both sporty and urban outfits. Essentials is a capsule base for sporty wardrobe with timeless cuts. It consists of comfortable mix&match sweatsuit sets that you can wear every day. The line is made only from materials sourced in a more sustainable way: organic cotton and recycled polyester. The colour scheme is inspired by the colours of the sky, water and sand, while the off-white shade is a natural tone of undyed organic yarn.
What makes this collection special:
which is a more eco-friendly alternative to industrial cotton. It is sourced from organic farms that do not use pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Organic cotton is mainly irrigated with rain water, which protects non-renewable ground and surface water resources.
All zippers used in the collection are made of recycled plastic. Some of them are made of recycled PET bottles collected from the ocean floor. This contributes to mitigating the environmental crisis in the oceans and reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
SeaCell™ are made from marine algae and lyocell, a material made of wood cellulose. The yarn is environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable.
was used in a part of the collection. Its use contributes to reduced production of virgin polyester and less waste that pollutes the natural environment.
All stitches and embroidery in the ESSENTIALS line were made using threads sourced from recycled fibres.
