The 4F Change Workshop was organized as a part of Westfield Good Festival, a 3-day educational event focused on ecology, that took place from June 27 to June 29 in Westfield Arkadia shopping center. During that time, customers could use 4F second-hand clothes to create their own upcycling projects. They were helped by our seamstresses from Wolbrom who made these projects come true by sewing over 300 sachets, vanity bags and cases from reused materials from 4F products. One of the most interesting projects was a car headrest pillow. All this shows that reusing materials gives a lot of opportunities, not only from creative but also from strictly utilitarian point of view.
The idea behind the workshop was to show our customers that the most ecological materials are the ones that already exist. By repairing and upcycling clothes, we show our care for the planet – we save water that is used for their production, reduce the pollution and prevent unnecessary waste going to landfill.
